Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Long Island
BREAKING: "This is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION," the National Weather Service says.

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect until 6:15 p.m. on Long Island.
Penny-size hail and 60 mph wind gusts are possible, the National Weather Service says. Expect damage to trees and power lines.
"This is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION," the NWS says. "These storms are producing widespread wind damage. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows."
