Woman Steals Dog From Nassau Sidewalk

Police are asking for the public's help to find the woman and the dog.

LEVITTOWN, NY – A woman stole a dog from a sidewalk in Nassau County earlier this week, police said.

An unknown woman took a small black and white dog from the front sidewalk of a home on Saucer Lane in Levittown at 3:08 p.m. Monday. The incident was reported to police on Thursday.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the dog’s location or the identity of the woman to contact Second Squad detectives at 516-573-6253.
