2 Shot, 1 Fatally, At Long Island House Party
A 911 caller reported a fight between guests at a party and a group of uninvited people late Sunday, police said.

NORTH BELLPORT, NY – One man was killed and another injured in a shooting at a house party in Suffolk County late Sunday.
According to Suffolk Police, Fifth Precinct officers responded to 730 Doane Ave. in North Bellport after a 911 caller reported a fight between guests at a party and a group of uninvited people at 11:25 p.m. When police arrived, they found two men, who were guests at the party, with gunshot wounds outside of the home.
The men were transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue where one man, James Skinner, 50, of Queens, was pronounced dead. The other man was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
