Child Care Council of Suffolk Elects New Board Members

Michelle Amato, Matthew Crennan and Chris Lowenberg to Serve on CCCS Board

The Child Care Council of Suffolk (CCCS) is pleased to welcome Michelle Amato, Matthew Crennan and Chris Lowenberg to its Board of Directors. “We greatly appreciate the diverse skills these new Board members bring to the Child Care Council of Suffolk,” stated CCCS Executive Director Jennifer Rojas.

Michelle Amato (Moriches, New York) is currently the chief of staff/VP of strategic innovation at Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York located in Brooklyn. Amato’s expertise includes child welfare, social services, program innovation and implementation and operation efficiency. Prior to joining Little Flower, she served as director of Bridges to Health. Amato holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ithaca College and a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from State University of New York at Stony Brook University.

Matthew Crennan (East Moriches, New York) is a vice president at BNB Bank in Hauppauge, where he serves as a business banking credit manager. Crennan has held numerous positions since he joined BNB Bank in 2012. He is a licensed mortgage loan originator and serves as a member of the Risk Management Association Young Professionals and the Risk Management Association. Crennan holds a Bachelor’s degree from Clemson University where he was elected to Phi Kappa Tau and Phi Beta Kappa.

Chris Lowenberg (Bay Shore, New York) works at Fuller Lowenberg & Co., CPAs, in Hauppauge, New York, where he provides accounting, auditing and taxation services to a diversified client base in a variety of industries including leasing, manufacturing, technology, real estate and distribution. Prior to joining Fuller Lowenberg in 2014, he worked at KPMG, New York City, where he served as senior-in-charge on multiple audit engagements. Lowenberg graduated from James Madison University in Virginia with both a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and a Master’s of Science in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). Lowenberg also serves as a member of Long Island Elite, a networking and philanthropic organization.
