Motorcyclist Killed In Long Island Crash

BREAKING: It was the second fatal motorcycle crash in about 18 hours on the island.

HOLBROOK, NY – A 49-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Suffolk early Wednesday.

According to Suffolk Police, John F. Greene was riding a 1995 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Veterans Memorial Highway, near the Sunrise Highway overpass, in Holbrook when his left the roadway and struck a metal barricade at about 12:20 a.m.

Greene, of Brookhaven, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
