Teen Found Shot To Death Outside Long Island Home
The teen's body was found early Tuesday, police say.

A 17-year-old boy was found shot to death outside his East Patchogue home early Tuesday, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, Fifth Precinct officers responded to 246 Hampton Ave. at 3:32 a.m. after a 911 caller reported a possible gunshot victim outside the residence. When officers arrived, the discovered Emilio Sanchez Maldonado, a resident of the home, had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
The investigation is continuing and detectives are asking anyone with information to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
