Teen Robs Long Island Bank: Police
BREAKING: He fled the scene on foot and was caught a short time later, police say.

VALLEY STREAM – A Nassau teen was arrested for robbing a bank Thursday morning, police said.
According to police, 17-year-old John Candelaria walked into TD Bank located at 275 W. Merrick Road in Valley Stream at 11:30 a.m. and handed the teller a demand note.
The teller complied and gave Candelaria an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Candelaria, of Valley Stream, fled the scene on foot, but was located a short time later and arrested without incident, police said.
Candelaria was charged with third degree robbery and will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
