WATCH: Huge Cheers For NYPD Officer From LI As He Leaves Hospital
The street outside St. Luke's was lined with fellow officers as Justin Vartanian, who was shot yesterday, walked out of the hospital Friday.
NYPD officer Justin Vartanian was released from the hospital Friday morning, less than 24 hours after he was shot in the armpit by a suspect in Manhattan Thursday afternoon.
The street outside Mount Sinai St. Luke's Hospital was lined with fellow officers as Vartanian, of Long Island, walked out of the hospital.
