CHINATOWN, NY β€” Eleven people were held at gunpoint and robbed during a Thanksgiving Day robbery at a Chinatown bodega, according to the NYPD.

Three men held guns and a knife at 11 people, ordering them onto the ground and demanding cash at a bodega at 67 Eldridge St. near Hester Street just before 5 p.m. Thursday, police said.

The 11 people, ages 38 to 65, gave up jewelry, which included a gold necklace with a jade centerpiece, and some $5,000 in cash, according to police and the New York Daily News.

The Chinatown grocery store, Lucky Star Grocery, may have been used for gambling, according to the Daily News.

No one was injured and no shots were fired, according to police.

Police said the three robbers ran north on Eldridge Street. Photos released by the NYPD show one of the thieves pointing a large knife while the victims were on the ground and a second man brandishing a gun.
