Armed Men In Ski-Masks Steal $20K Inside LaGuardia Houses: NYPD
Two men stole $20,000 in an armed robbery earlier this month, police said.
LOWER EAST SIDE, NY β Two armed men wearing ski-masks stole $20,000 from an apartment in LaGuardia Houses earlier this month, police said.
Police said that about 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 9, a 28-year-old man was with three other people in his room at 65 Jefferson St. when he heard something in another room.
The man found two men in ski-masks with guns in the other room, who demanded money from him, police said.

He complied, and the robbers ran off with $20,000, police said.
Police said no one was injured during the robbery.

Cops are searching for the duo caught on surveillance cameras, which show a man wearing a white T-shirt and a baseball cap and another wearing a long-sleeve black shirt with gray sweatpants.
