Cops tased a man who allegedly pulled a gun on an NYPD officer, according to the NYPD.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY β€” Cops tased a man they say pulled a gun on an NYPD officer on the Lower East Side Saturday morning.

Four NYPD officers were on patrol near 90 Columbia St. between Stanton and Rivington streets tracking a car that was connected to a Washington Heights road rage incident last month, according to police and reports.

The officers saw the vehicle about 6 a.m. May 18 about 6 a.m. and approached the 28-year-old driver, Amado Zubidi, police said.

Cops tried to take Zubidi into custody and he started yelling, "Why am I being detained?" according to body camera footage obtained by the New York Daily News. Eventually, Zubidi said he would get out of the car, then an officer was heard shouting "Taser!"

The video published by the Daily News shows Zubidi reaching for something on his seat β€” which the NYPD alleges was a loaded five-shot, .38-caliber revolver that Zubidi pushed into Officer Jose Aracena's chest, police said.

Officer Luis Perez tased Zubidi and took him into custody, police said. Zubidi was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, police said.

Another officer was taken to a hospital in stable condition for pain in the elbow, police said.

Cops had been trailing the white Dodge Caravan that Lower East Sider Zubidi was driving since Friday morning, when it was found parked at a fire hydrant by a traffic agent, police said.

The license plate was linked to the earlier Washington Heights incident on April 28, in which a driver got into an argument with another motorists, threw a bottle at him and fired a shot, the Daily News reported.

Zubidi's lawyer denied cops' accusations that Zubidi has thrust a gun into Aracena's chest, according to the Daily News.

Zubidi was arrested and charged Saturday with attempted aggravated murder of an officer, criminal possession of a weapon and resisting arrest Saturday, police said.
