Japanese Tapas Restaurant Rabbit House Will Open A 2nd LES Spot
Rabbit House is planning to open a second location on the Lower East Side.
LOWER EAST SIDE, NY β A Japanese tapas restaurant on the Lower East Side will open a second location in the neighborhood this fall.
The Rabbit House plans to open at 41 Essex St., where the eatery has opened as a pop-up this summer. Its other location is a few blocks west at 76 Forsyth St. next to Sara D. Roosevelt Park.
The restaurant will open sometime in October, according to the restaurant.

The chef and owner Yoshiko Sakuma was previously of Michelin-starred restaurant Danube and then another restaurant Aureole. Her restaurant Rabbit House features European influenced Japanese tapas with sake and wine on the Lower East Side and Chinatown.
