Learn Where To See Fall Migratory Birds With NYC Park Rangers

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — Attention bird lovers: New York City's Urban Park Rangers will teach you the best viewing spots to catch migratory birds on the Lower East Side this weekend.

Rangers will guide attendees where to see fall migratory birds at an event for all skill levels, including beginners, this Saturday.

The event is slated for Saturday at 11 a.m. at M'finda Kalunga Garden in Sara D. Roosevelt Park at Hester and Forsyth streets.

The Parks Department recommends bringing binoculars or borrowing a pair from the rangers.

The departments Urban Park Rangers have been guiding New Yorkers to the city's parks since 1979. The rangers run events across New York City, like bird watching, trail walks, canoeing, and mushroom hikes.
