Lower East Side Robbery Spree: Cops Offer up to $2,500 Award for Info on Teen Suspect
The teen allegedly has been threatening and stealing from his fellow teens, police say.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY β The NYPD is offering up to a $2,500 award for information regarding a teen who allegedly robbed three other teens last month in the neighborhood.
The suspect, who is believed to be between the ages of 15 and 18 years old, threatened to either stab or shoot his victims before stealing cash from them, police say. An NYPD spokesperson told Patch on Monday all three of the victims were either 13 or 14 years of age.
According to DNAinfo, which first reported the award, the teen has thus far been connected to five robberies on the Lower East Side.

The suspect is described as between 15 and 18 years of age, 135 pounds, 5-feet-10-inches, and has brown eyes with close-cut black hair.
