Lower East Side Spots Added To The List Of NYC's Best Cheap Eats

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — Two restaurants were added to Eater's list of top 40 best cheap eats in New York City.

Taco Mix was number 25 and Jiang Xin Fan Tuan made number 26 on the list of top 40 cheap restaurants, according to Eater NY, which added the two spots in July.

Taco Mix, located at 158 Delancey St., is a branch of East Harlem's taqueria that opened on the Lower East Side in July. Tacos are $4, burritos are $11 and quesadillas are $8.50.

Jiang Xin Fan Tuan, a Japanese and Taiwanese restaurant at 38 Allen St. that opened earlier this year, serves rice rolls to-stay or to take-out. Prices for the rolls are about $3-4 each.
