Man Fatally Shot In The Face On The Lower East Side: NYPD
It was the second murder in the Ninth Precinct in 2019, cops said.
LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — A man was fatally shot in the face early Saturday morning at the New York City Housing Authority's Lillian Wald Houses, cops said.
Officers were called to 20 Avenue D just north of East Third Street about 2:45 a.m. Saturday, police said.
Police said officers found a 35-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the face.

Emergency medical personnel rushed him to Bellevue Hospital where he was pronounced dead, cops said.
No arrests have been made, cops said.

The shooting was the second murder in the Ninth Precinct in 2019, police confirmed. In March, a 27-year-old man was stabbed to death on East Ninth Street between avenues C and D.
