CHINATOWN, NY β€” Cops are searching for a man who stabbed another person in Chinatown, an NYPD spokesperson said.

The man who was wearing a Hawaiian shirt stabbed another person on Mulberry Street between Bayard and Mosco streets, which is at Columbus Park, the spokesperson said.

The injured person was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, the spokesperson said.

Police said the suspect was wearing Hawaiian shirt and is about 5 foot 5 inches tall in his mid-40s with a medium build.

Video from the Citizen app shows a man being assisted by emergency personnel at Columbus Park Monday afternoon, though cops could not immediately confirm the age and gender of the victim nor what time the stabbing occurred.
