Hit-And-Run Crash Kills Man On Lower East Side, Police Say
A 49-year-old man was killed early on Friday morning in a hit-and-run car collision, police said.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY β A man was killed in a hit-and-run collision early on Friday morning in the Lower East Side, police said.
Police responded to a 911 call at about 3:30 a.m. on Friday and found a 49-year-old man lying in the roadway near the corner of Delancey and Clinton streets, according to the NYPD. The man, who was unconscious and unresponsive, had severe head trauma, and was pronounced dead as the scene, police said.
Police say the 49-year-old was hit by an unknown car which left the area after the accident. No one has been arrested and police are still investigating.
