Man Shot In Leg At Lower East Side NYCHA Building: Cops
A man, 27, was shot in the leg at a NYCHA development on the Lower East Side, cops said.
LOWER EAST SIDE, NY β A man was shot in the leg at a Lower East Side New York City Housing Authority development Wednesday morning, an NYPD spokesperson said.
The man, 27, was shot once in the right leg about 11 a.m. Wednesday inside of a NYCHA Smith Houses building at 388 Pearl St. just north of the Brooklyn Bridge, the NYPD spokesperson said.
The man was taken to Bellevue Hospital and was expected to survive, though all information is preliminary, cops said.

Cops did not have immediate information regarding the suspect, the spokesperson said.
