Man Trapped In LES Bar After Falling Asleep In Bathroom: Report
The man said he fell asleep on the toilet after a night of drinking at the Marshall Stack bar on Rivington Street.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY β A man spent the night trapped in a Lower East Side bar on Thursday after falling asleep inside the bar's bathroom stall and dozing through the night, according to a report in the New York Post.
The 23-year-old bargoer, who the Post did not name, was drinking in the Marshall Stack bar, located at 66 Rivington St., on Thursday night. On Friday morning, he found himself trapped inside the locked bar and had to call 911 to get out, the Post reported.
The man told the Post that he had worked a 12-hour day before going to drink with a friend at the bar.

"Iβm dead tired, Iβve had like three beers, [and] I wanted to leave," he told the Post. "I went in [to the bathroom] to take a p---. When I was done, I sat down on the toilet, closed my eyes, and fell asleep."
"My buddy thought Iβd left," he told the newspaper. "The next time I wake up, itβs 7 oβclock and Iβm in the stall."

The man, realizing he was trapped inside the Rivington Street bar, called 911 and was let out on Friday morning by amused emergency responders, he said.
