Mom Goes Into Labor On Canal Street In Chinatown, FDNY Says
The Fire Department got a call about a woman about to give birth on Canal Street Thursday morning, FDNY said.
CHINATOWN, NY — A mother went into labor on Canal Street Thursday morning, the Fire Department said.
The FDNY got a call about 11:50 a.m. for imminent birth near 268 Canal St. between Lafayette St. and Broadway at the edge of SoHo and Chinatown, a department spokesman said.
Two units were still at the intersection about 12:30 p.m., the spokesman said.
