New Museum Will Display More Than 30 Hans Haacke Works This Fall
The New Museum exhibition will be the first major look at Hans Haacke's works in more than 30 years.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY β The New Museum is launching a massive exhibition of German artist Hans Haacke's works this fall.
"Hans Haacke: All Connected" will present more than 30 pieces from the 1960s to today of Haacke's works β the first major U.S. exhibition of his work in more than 30 years, the museum said.
Haacke, who was born in Germany in 1936, is known for his conceptual works criticizing political systems. In the 1970s, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum canceled his solo show at the museum over his controversial work, including one about the real estate industry in New York City that will be on display at the exhibition.

Among the pieces include Haacke's bronze sculpture of a horse's skeleton with an LED ribbon that shows stock prices in real time, made in 2014.
