Outdoor Barter Event Coming To Lower East Side Sunday

You can also pick up goods for free at GrowNYC's market at Columbus Park.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY – Ladies and gentlemen, start your swapping!

GrowNYC is hosting a stop-and-swap market at Columbus Park in Chinatown on Sunday.

The nonprofit says to bring β€œclean, reusable, portable items” like books, toys, β€œfashionable clothing,” electronics and household goods to swap.

You can also come and see what people are giving away for free.

GrowNYC is aiming to host one swap in each of the city’s 59 community districts this year. You can find a list of upcoming swaps here.

Be forewarned – Sunday’s swap will be held subject to weather conditions, and the forecast currently calls for rain.
