Police Hunt Slasher In LES Bar Brawl
The man punched another person in the face and then slashed him using a broken glass, police said.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY β Police are searching for a man who slashed another person at a Lower East Side bar early on Sunday morning.
Authorities say that James Mercado attacked another man at Pianos Bar, 158 Ludlow St., on Sunday at about 2:45 a.m. Mercado is accused of punching another patron at the bar, a 22-year-old man, and then smashing a broking glass cup across the 22-year-oldβs face, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
The 22-year-old required 80 stitches after the attack, according to the Lo-Down.

Police released Mercadoβs photo and are asking for the publicβs help locating him.
