Police Seek Teen in String of Robberies on the Lower East Side
The teen allegedly threatened violence to all three of his victims before demanding cash, police said.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY β Police are looking for a teen they say threatened and robbed fellow teens in three separate incidents this month.
All three of the victims were between 13 and 14 years of age, a New York City Police Department (NYPD) spokesperson told Patch. Police say the suspect threatened to stab the teens with a knife or shoot them with a gun before demanding cash.
The first of three robberies came on the morning of Monday, Nov. 14 at 8:50 a.m., police said, and similar incidents flared up throughout the course of the next several days. The suspect stole $6 from the first victim at 56 Essex Street before fleeing east on Grand Street, according to the New York City Police Department (NYPD).

The second robbery came two days later when the suspect stole $5 from a victim across from 227 Madison Street at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, police said. The suspect was said to be wearing a black sweat jacket and a backpack at the time.
The suspect allegedly returned for a third time to steal $10 from a person at the corner of Broome Street and Norfolk Street on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 12:35 p.m, according to the NYPD. The suspect was then seen wearing red sweatpants, a dark jacket and a backpack, police said.

None of the victims reported injuries, police said.
The suspect is described as between 15 and 18 years of age, 135 pounds, 5-feet-10-inches, and has brown eyes with close-cut black hair. He was last seen wearing a blue jeans and a multi-colored shirt.
