Butcher Bar opened its first Manhattan location this month on Orchard Street.
LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — The popular Queens barbecue restaurant Butcher Bar opened its first Manhattan location this month on the Lower East Side.

Butcher Bar, which first opened in Astoria in 2011, is now open at 146 Ochard St. The restaurant promises meat that is locally sourced and hormone free, priding itself on connecting diners to the source of their food, according to Butcher Bar's website. The chain, which also sells at Long Island City Flea & Food, started as a butcher shop before expanding to restaurants.
