Sobriety & Motherhood is Soberocity's way of honoring all sober Moms for Mother's Day.

Sober events and social networking platform located in the Lower East Side, Soberocity, has officially announced their third panel of the year, Sobriety & Motherhood. Sobriety & Motherhood is Soberocity’s way of honoring all sober Moms for Mother’s Day. This raw panel will dive into each panelist’s journey to sobriety and how it not only enriched their lives, but the lives of everyone in their families.
Our panelists include: Model, Television Personality, and Private Investigator Sarah McSweeney, Author, Harm Reduction Specialist with The Sidewalk Project, and Host of the Sober Mom Squad Jen Elizabeth, Michelle Smith of Recovery is the New Black, Founder of Out Loud Recovery Martha Duke, and Erin Ranta of REVA Recovery.
Spearheaded by Editor in Chief, Alexandra Nyman, this one-of-a-kind panel is for those living a sober life or individuals who are sober curious and are looking for sober events to attend with like-minded people. Soberocity wants to change the perception of what it means to live a sober life and make it achievable and attainable for everyone suffering, or who has suffered, from addiction.

“For us, sobriety is a spectrum, and we fully embrace all looking to join our community,” Alexandra Nyman, Editor in Chief of Soberocity, “This panel is a great way for us to show that spectrum by featuring Mothers who are going against the grain and not falling into the of being just another ‘wine Mom’.”
Soberocity is not just another sober blog, our team works hard to make each of our members feel safe going through the process of sobriety. By connecting members through livestreams like this we are able to help open the minds of those who are sober curious or who are addicts into seeing beyond day one of recovery to continue down the path to freedom from their addiction.

The platform held its first official panel on Friday, March 26th, Sobriety in the Time of Covid. The panel consisted of the OG Sober Influencer and Real Housewife, Jennier Gimenez, A&E's Dope Man and National Thought Leader, Tim Ryan, and Founder of Out Loud Recovery, Martha Duke. And their second panel of the calendar year will be held tomorrow at 7pm EST and is an open discussion on the topic of “California Sober”.

Soberocity’s mission is simple: we want to connect people living a sober life with like-minded individuals through online meet-ups, live streams, and more. Whether it be overcoming addiction, joining in solidarity with a loved one, or a personal choice to be sober, the team believes that it is possible to enjoy life without addiction being a factor.
