The knife-wielding woman robbed the man at 227 Cherry St., the below market rate building from Extell Development, near One Manhattan Square on the Lower East Side.
Earlier this year at the same building, an officer shot and killed a knifeman for plunging an 11-inch knife into his partner, badly injuring the victim, sparking frustrations from a tenant association at a nearby building about security issues at the building.
