LOWER EAST SIDE, NY β Someone scrawled graffiti onto a Yeshiva on the Lower East Side, police said.
The Mesivta Tiferes Yerushalayim building at 145 East Broadway was vandalized over the weekend with what looked like clown face, the word "evil" and a string of letters and numbers that looked like a racial slur, police said.
Cops said it occurred sometime between 2 p.m. Friday and 9 p.m. Saturday β possibly during Shabbas, Mayor Bill de Blasio said in a tweet linking to The Yeshiva World, which first reported the incident.
