1-Tank Adventure: Dutchess County Fair Is Open

Only two more days! Don't miss it!

RHINEBECK, NY — The 173rd Dutchess County Fair is open for 2018. It's the largest county fair in New York, and it's right here in the Hudson Valley.

Deep-fried Oreos are only part of the fun. The 162-acre fair has thousands of farm animals, thousands of displays, thousands of craft items, over 100 food vendors and more than 50 carnival rides.

Plus there's entertainment galore, with free shows and attractions all day long.

Tickets are $15 at the gate. Children 11 and under are free at all times. Seniors age 65 and up and military with proper ID are $8 purchased at the gate.

Rides are not included in the fair admission. They are four tickets for $5 or 22 tickets for $20.

Parking is free. Visitors are advised to note the numbered sign near their cars in order to easily find their waysback after the fair. There are "selfie stations" at each gate so you can make a note of where you came in!
