74K+ Customers In Mid-Hudson Valley With No Power: UPDATE
The number of outages has increased dramatically since Tropical Storm Isaias hit the region.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — The number of electricity customers in the mid-Hudson Valley without power tripled over the past hour or so. As of 4:45 p.m., Central Hudson reported more than 61,000 customers without electricity.
In Dutchess County, there are about 30,000 with no power. East Fishkill was the hardest hit, so far, with about 9,000 customers off the grid. Wappinger and Wappingers Falls had 4,800 and 1,700, respectively. Lagrange had 3,500 and the town of Poughkeepsie had 3,000.

Central Hudson estimated restoration for East Fishkill and the town of Wappinger for 7 p.m. Tuesday. All other locations were pending.
There were more than 23,000 Orange County Central Hudson customers without power. The town of Newburgh had 5,500; the city of Newburgh, 4,500. New Windsor had just under 6,000 customers in the dark.

Ulster County had a little more than 8,000 customers impacted by the storm. Olive had 1,600 and Plattekill has 900. Rosendale came in third with 800.
There were 13,500 NYSEG customers in Dutchess County who were waiting for the lights to come back on. Beekman was the hardest hit at more than 4,000, with the town of Dover at just under 4,000.
The town of Pawling had about 2,500 customers with no electricity.
