Canadian Man Accused Of Driving Drunk On Thruway
The Quebec resident's blood alcohol content was determined to be more than twice the legal limit.
NEWBURGH, NY — A Canadian man was accused of drunken driving on the Thruway in Orange County.
The New York State Police said, around 2:50 p.m. Saturday, troopers stopped a car on Interstate 87 in the town of Newburgh for a vehicle and traffic violation.
The driver of the car, Chad R. Snow, 55, of Kahnawake, Quebec, was found to be intoxicated.

He was taken into custody and processed at the Newburgh barracks where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.21 percent.
Snow was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Newburgh Court.
