Clinton Vineyards Announces Celebration On June 24

From Clinton Vineyards: Clinton Vineyards is pleased to announce the release of its 40th vintage of Seyval Blanc on June 24, 2017. To mark this important milestone, Phyllis Feder, the owner of Clinton Vineyards, invites the public to attend a celebration at the picturesque farm winery in Clinton Corners, NY. At a vibrant 81 years of age, Phyllis, as vineyard/winery owner, is the only woman of her age operating a winery and vineyard in the USA.

Popping the Cork on the 40th Vintage

The celebration of the 40th Vintage will be held on Saturday, June 24th from 2pm to 6pm at Clinton Vineyards on Schultzville Road, Clinton Corners and will include tastings of the 40th vintage, music provided by a jazz trio, a Pop-Up Farmers Market featuring local vendors including Crown Maple Syrup, Canoe Hill Café, Hoofprint Cheese, Beacon Bakery, and Rock Steady Farm. Phyllis says, “just as our wines have a unique quality based on the place they were grown and made, the terroir, as the French call it, we admire and want to share our wines with our artisan neighbors whose products are delicious and distinctively ‘local’.”

Phyllis Feder describes the 40th vintage with great enthusiasm. “Last year, the conditions were great for growing and it is reflected in the wine. It’s as if all the good forces have come together to produce a really outstanding vintage, and it is so exciting that it should be our 40th! We want everyone to try it.” In honor of the celebration, Clinton Vineyards has created a special 40th vintage label and has recently launched a new ecommerce website selling their wines online at clintonvineyards.com
