Dutchess Man Accused Of Participating In Capitol Riot Enters Plea
Christopher Patrick Moynihan was captured on video taking photos of official government documents while on the floor of the Senate Jan. 6.

SALT POINT, NY — The Dutchess County man caught on video taking photographs of congressional documents on the floor of the Senate during the Jan. 6 riots entered a plea in court to his charges.
Christopher Patrick Moynihan, 30, pleaded not guilty Thursday in federal court, News 12 reported.
He was released and is due back in court in June.

Moynihan was charged with entering a restricted building "without lawful authority to do so," disorderly conduct and impeding an official government proceeding.
He was arrested at his Dutchess County home Feb 25.

According to the charging documents, Moynihan was seen in videos on the floor of the Senate using his cell phone to take photos of official notes and documents.
He was turned in by someone who said they'd worked with him for about a year. The tipster provided a cell number for him, and cellular records placed that phone inside the Capitol building Jan. 6, according to prosecutors.
