Florida Tree Will Be Rockefeller Center's Christmas Showpiece
A massive spruce in the Hudson Valley has been chosen as the 2019 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.

FLORIDA, NY — The Hudson Valley is again the site of a Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree-to-be. It's a Norway Spruce located in Florida, New York, and as JoAnn Kolden said on the Rockefeller Center's Facebook post about it, "It looks beautiful without the lights!"
Last year the tree came from nearby Walkill, also in Orange County.
Every year the Rockefeller Center Holiday Tree lighting ceremony helps kick off the holiday season with a bang. Thousands of people crowd the sidewalks and millions watch on television.
