Freeze Warnings Issued In Hudson Valley

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Don't put away the cold-weather gear just yet.

With temperatures dropping to freezing or below overnight, the National Weather Service has issued freeze warnings for parts of the Hudson Valley.

For Rockland and northern Westchester counties, the warning is in effect from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday. The weather service said the temperature could get as low as 32 degrees.

The warning for Orange and Putnam counties is also in effect from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday, with temperatures dipping down as low as 30 degrees.

Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, and other sensitive vegetation, the weather service said.
