The producers are casting for locals to be paid extras during the shoot which stars Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A new limited series for HBO will be filming in the Hudson Valley — and the producers are looking to cast some local folk.
According to an HV Post on Facebook, Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking people in the Hudson Valley with 1960s to early 1970s period cars to work as paid extras.
The series is "The White House Plumbers," from the producers of "Veep" and "Succession."

HBO said, in a news release, that the five-episode series is based in part on the book "Integrity," which was written by Egil "Bud" Krogh and Matthew Krogh, and public records from the Watergate era.
Woody Harrelson will star as E. Howard Hunt, and Justin Theroux will star as G. Gordon Liddy.

Liddy worked alongside Hunt to plan and direct the Democratic National Committee office burglary in the Watergate building in 1972. The events led to the resignation of then-President Richard Nixon.
Bud Krogh was part of the Nixon administration and went to prison for his part in the Watergate scandal.
Besides the locals with period cars, the casting company is also looking for other paid extras who must be OK working around smoke and have natural-colored hair. The casting agents said they must be OK with possibly having their hair altered into a 1970s style.
Filming is expected to begin in May in the mid-Hudson Valley.
