Hudson Valley Man Wins $1000 A Week For Life

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A Dutchess County man won a top prize in April 5 Cash4Life drawing and is guaranteed to receive at least $1 million.

According to New York Lottery officials, Gregory Henson of Poughkeepsie matched the first five numbers in the April 5 drawing resulting in the second prize worth $1,000 a week for life.

Henson opted to take a lump sum single payment of $651,000 after required withholdings.

The winning Cash4Life numbers drawn on April 5 were 19-21-26-39-53 and a cash ball of 03. The second prize is awarded when all numbers except for the cash ball are chosen.

Henson purchased the winning ticket at Shah Gasoline at 190 Innis Ave. in Poughkeepsie.
