Maloney Announced Community Project Funds Recipients
The projects are in Dutchess, Putnam, Orange and Westchester counties.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, D-Cold Spring, recently announced community project funding that will make improvements to and help stimulate the economy throughout the 18th Congressional District.
Maloney requested nearly $14 million to clean water projects in the district, including nearly $12 million to the city of Middletown and $1.8 million for PRAS mitigation in Lewisboro.
More than $21 million for transportation and infrastructure community development projects, including $5.75 million for Newburgh.

Orange County will be receiving more than $43 million, $4 million for Dutchess, $14 million for Putnam and $2 million for Westchester.
Maloney said, during the 177 town halls he's hosted since becoming a congressman, he had heard from local officials on both sides of the aisle what is needed in their communities.

"Community Project Funding will allow me to use my first-hand understanding of the needs of our neighbors to help the people who sent us to Washington," he said.
