Memorial Day 2021 Parades, Ceremonies In Dutchess County

In addition to the ceremonies and parades, there will be a convoy traveling throughout the county.

DUTCHESS COUNTY, NY — From the annual war memorial ceremony to a flag-changing ceremony, there will be several occasions during the Memorial Day weekend to honor local service members who sacrificed for the nation.

The Walkway Over the Hudson will host a sunset Memorial Day eve flag-changing ceremony to honor local men and women who served the country.

On Monday, the Dutchess County Veterans' Services will host its annual ceremony at the Dutchess County War Memorial in Poughkeepsie at 11 a.m.

In addition, there will be a convoy of law enforcement and military vehicles will travel throughout Dutchess County communities. A map of the routes can be found here.
