Motorcyclist Dies After Being Struck By Deer In Hudson Valley
Emergency medical personnel used life-saving techniques before the man was taken to the hospital.
THOMPSON, NY — A motorcyclist was killed in Sullivan County after his bike was struck by a deer in the town of Thompson.
The New York State Police said Frank L. Gerow Jr., 52, of White Lake, was driving a 2011 Honda motorcycle east on Route 17B around 3:40 a.m. Tuesday when it was struck a deer.
Authorities said life-saving techniques were used by Mobile Medic which took Gerow to Garnet Health Medical Center.

He died of his injuries at the hospital and was pronounced dead by the attending physician, police said.
The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene to render aid.
