Poughkeepsie Man Accused Of Having Loaded Illegal Handgun
Troopers had pulled him over initially for a traffic violation.

LAGRANGE, NY — A Poughkeepsie man was accused of having an illegal loaded weapon during a traffic stop.
The New York State Police said, shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday, troopers made a traffic stop on Route 55 in the town of LaGrange of a 2014 Mazda for a traffic violation.
An investigation found David George Jr., 25, of Poughkeepsie, was in possession illegally of a loaded Polymer P80 Inc. 9mm handgun that had no serial number.

He was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony.
George was arraigned in the Town of LaGrange Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
