Poughkeepsie Woman Faces Illegal Drugs Accusation
Police said they pulled the woman over because of a traffic violation.
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A Poughkeepsie woman was accused of having illegal drugs after being stopped for a traffic violation.
The New York State Police said Becky K. Teck, 50, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
Around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, troopers stopped a 2010 Cadillac CTS on Flannery Avenue in the city of Poughkeepsie for a traffic violation.

The investigation found that Teck had about 2 grams of cocaine and 2.2 grams of heroin.
She was arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Court and released on her own recognizance. She was scheduled to return to court Thursday.
