Rep. Maloney To Hold Outdoor Town Halls

The four events will be on Saturday and Sunday in the mid-Hudson Valley.

NEWBURGH, NY — Four "Speak with Sean" town halls will be held this weekend in the mid-Hudson Valley.

Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, D-Cold Spring, will be in Newburgh, Wallkill, Poughkeepsie and Carmel talking to constituents to hear their concerns and to tell them what he has done in Washington to help New York's economy.

Maloney represents the 18th Congressional District, which is comprised of Orange and Putnam counties and parts of Westchester and Dutchess counties.

The town halls will be held in parks. In adherence with social-distancing guidelines, all attendees will sit on their own picnic blankets and chairs. Constituents who wish to ask a question will be able to speak with through the COVID-safe speaker system.

Per New York State guidelines, vaccinated individuals don't have to wear a mask at Maloney's public, outdoor events. Any immunocompromised or unvaccinated individuals are required to wear a mask, the congressman's office said.

Wallkill Town Hall
Saturday, May 22 - 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Circleville Park, 16 Creamery Road, Circleville

SUNDAY, MAY 23
Poughkeepsie Town Hall
Sunday, May 23 - 11 a.m. – noon
Bartlett Park, 80 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie

Carmel Town Hall
Sunday, May 23 - 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Putnam County Veterans Memorial Park (Upper Pavilion), 201 Gipsy Trail Road, Carmel
