Scholarship Set Up To Honor Arlington Senior Killed In Crash
The family of Jennifer Dickson will announce plans for memorial service at a later date.

SALT POINT, NY — A scholarship has been set up to honor the Arlington High School senior who was killed in a one-car crash Friday while she was on her way to classes. Jennifer L. Dickson was 18 when she died and was studying cosmetology at Dutchess County BOCES.
A cosmetology scholarship fund has been started in her honor, according to her obituary.
If anyone would like to donate, a check made payable to Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, with the memo “Jennifer Dickson Cosmetology Scholarship Fund” should be sent to Marion Salon/Spa, 2510 Route 44, Unit 3, Salt Point NY 12578.

Dickson was less than a week away from graduating with honors from BOCES. While attending school, she was employed at Marion Salon/Spa and was going to continue pursing her career there after graduation.
She is survived by her mother and her fiancé, Diane Dickson and Jim Maine, her father Douglas Dickson of Gilmanton, NH, her sisters Stephanie Dickson of Mohawk and Kimberly Dickson of Stanfordville, her paternal grandmother Janet Dickson of Stratford and her long-time boyfriend Evan Brown.

There will be no calling hours. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
A memorial service will be announced at a future date.
Arrangements are under the direction of William G. Miller and Son Funeral Home in Poughkeepsie.
