Several Crew Team Members Rescued From Hudson River

Emergency personnel found more than 20 people clinging to capsized vessels Wednesday evening.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Several members of a crew team were rescued from the Hudson River Wednesday after their boats capsized.

There were more than 20 people clinging to capsized vessels in the water just north of the Walkway Over the Hudson when emergency personnel got to the scene just after 7 p.m., MidHudson News reported.

Witnesses said that local high school crew teams had boats in the water at the time, but the names of the schools have yet been released.
