
MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northeastern Dutchess County and south central Columbia County.
The warning is in effect until 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.
At 4:43 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Ancram, or 16 miles northeast of Rhinebeck, moving east at 35 mph.

Locations impacted include Sharon, Pine Plains, Ancram, Millerton, Falls Village, Bethel, Salisbury, Goshen, Cornwall, South Norfolk, Pachin Mills, Ancramdale, South Canaan, Kelly Corner, West Goshen, Shekomeko, Silvernails, Pulvers Corners, Amesville and Spaulding Furnace.
