MILLBROOK, NY — A tornado warning was issued for northeastern Dutchess County in east central New York until 3:45 p.m.

At 3:14 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornadowas located over Millbrook, or 15 miles southeast of Rhinebeck,moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...Amenia and Dover Plains around 3:20 p.m.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Oniontown, Lithgow, Millbrook Heights, Smithfield, Attlebury, South Amenia, Shunpike, Bangall, Bains Corner and Mabbettsville.
