Vassar Brothers Begins Limited Visitation For Inpatients

The policy change is due to a decline of coronavirus cases in the community.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Vassar Brothers Medical Center will begin limited visitation for inpatients.

The new policy goes into effect Tuesday and is due to a decline of coronavirus cases in the community, according to a spokesman for Nuvance Health.

Hospital officials said in-hospital patients without suspected or confirmed COVID-19 are allowed one support person per day for up to four hours.
