We need More Nurses and Doctors Extra Help

(VASSAR BROTHERS MEDICAL CENTER) Just got home since yesterday evening 5pm until 08AM. The pain the yelling and crying all night long people still haven't been seen. Their children, babies were crying in pain, throwing up. Why build a big hospital and you're understaffed?? The way you're running this hospital, it's still putting you behind they get one individual bring them back do vital signs on them, blood work on them, then do x-rays. Then you're back in the ER to sit again for the next 20 hours. There was a lady there that couldn't breathe because of emphysema. She got there they hardly seen her they talked with her the technicians or nurse practitioners. She was in need of Oxygen. They wouldn't give her oxygen she barely could walk she asked for a name of the lady that was rude to her. They had no remorse or even cared. However no one there knew the people that you work with smh. Not even the security Guards. Then you had an older man in a wheelchair that has blistering legs from diabetes who knows. Went to use the Restroom they called his name. He did not hear, he came out and said that someone told him that they was calling him. He asked if they can take him back to be seen. They ignored him he sat in the waiting room for an additional five or six hours before he would be seen again. The lady with the emphysema left the hospital. She was never treated. The hospital is understaffed you have people leave the hospital that is no longer working there because they can't meet the demands that are being asked from them. The doctors and nurses that are in the back are very patient and nice when your seen. However you don't have enough nurses or doctors or technicians or a lab techs to meet you it's a wait too. Again why have this huge Hospital and you don't enough staff?? More people need to be hired for this Hospital more people is needed we have this pandemic going on you can't even meet the criteria of taking care of the people in the community. This is truly sad and definitely should looked into.
